Why are we different from other florists?

We are an award-winning Lethbridge florist with 94 years in the retail flower business, serving the City of Lethbridge and its surrounding communities since 1931. Our combined floral designer experience tallies over 50 years! We take great pride in creating unique, one of a kind floral designs – nothing but the best for our customers!

Can you create a custom flower design for me?

We sure can! Whether you are looking for a special flower bouquet or a funeral or sympathy flower arrangement we invite you to share your ideas with us. Please email or call us to speak with one of our designers about your custom design.

How long should my flowers last?

Once you receive your flower arrangement you should expect the majority of flower varieties to last up to 7 days (including roses and lilies). Certain other varieties like carnations, alstroemeria and chrysanthemums could last for two or more weeks. Please remember your flowers are not happy on or near a heat source or where it is very cold.

How do I take care of my fresh cut flowers?

Once we have delivered your flowers to you we recommend that every three to four days you should recut the stems and change the water to get maximum longevity from your flowers. If you receive fresh flowers that are not in a vase you should recut the bottom of the stems before placing them in a vase of water treated with a portion of the flower food provided. Check water daily.

Do arrangements include the exact flower varieties and colours pictured?

Our flower arrangements are hand designed by qualified floral designers. They are not mass produced so there may be variations in the delivered product. Fresh cut flowers are a perishable product and availability varies by season. There may be times we will need to substitute flowers of equal or better value. We make every attempt to preserve the original colour scheme and flower types that have been ordered without compromising the overall look of the flower arrangement.

Can I shop your flower products online but place my order directly with your store?

Our website at marquisflowers.com is designed for the convenience of our customers who like the option of ordering flowers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. If you are not comfortable with purchasing online and wish to place your order over the phone we truly get that. If you would like to speak with us at any time during your shopping experience we would be happy to assist you! Our shop is open 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00am to 3:00pm Saturday.  Contact Us by phone at 403-327-1515 local or 800-661-8099 in Canada. And you get to speak directly with a Team member who will be designing your flowers!

What information do you need to process my order?

You will be asked to provide your recipient’s name, phone number and address to complete your order for delivery. Keep in mind what you’d like to say on your card message. Lastly, we require your billing information that is linked to the payment method you will be providing.

What happens with the information you collect from me when I order flowers?

We have a strict privacy and disclosure policy in place. We do not sell the customer information that we acquire from you nor do we use it for unsolicited advertising and marketing. Check out our privacy page or give us a call to speak with one of our team members.

Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely! Our online checkout uses Paypal encrypted technology and SiteLock security. We follow all credit card privacy and disclosure rules and adhere to card processing providers annual compliance reporting. Our in store payment card technology is provided by Teleflora under the same strict security regulations and guidelines.
